We have many clients, customers, employees, and people of our community who have many common questions about the security industry. Here we will address these questions here.

What type of trainings are required to apply?

 

At GPF, we require the following to apply for a security officer position: proof of forty (40) hours of basic security officer training, current and valid Guard Card through BSIS, open availability is preferred, and of course the desire to strive for excellence!

What type of trainings are provided?

 

Every month we provide staff trainings on multiple topics such as deescalation of force and unarmed conflict, effective communication, and ethics and professionalism.

Do security guards work individually or in groups?

 

Depending on the type of assignment, security officers can work both individually or in a group. For example, an officer could fly solo on a private investigations assignment or in a group for a large special event.

What is the recruitment process at GPF?

 

The recruitment process here at Guardian consists of a couple easy steps: inquiry, telephone screenings, preliminary interview, and secondary interview. For more details on how to apply with GPF view on blog here.

What sites are available to work at?

 

We have a vast variety of sites at GPF from grocery stores, high end hotels, shopping centers, special events like weddings and concerts, and much more. Working with Guardian you can work at a variety of sites to growing your experience within the industry.

What types of benefits does GPF offer?

 

Currently GPF offers a 401(k) plan, weekly pay and direct deposit, paid sick time, and paid trainings. However, many new changes are in the works and additional benefits may be coming soon.
